r30

Engine 675 (formerly County Engine 408, Patrol 17, Saratoga Patrol 30) is a 2002 Ford F550/Ferrara 4x4 with a 500gpm (1890 l/m) pump-and-roll pump and a 360 gallon (1360 l) tank. It had under-cab water nozzles that allow it to protect itself and spray while driving. After the merger with Saratoga Fire and prior to it's major modification, this heavily overloaded rig was identified as Patrol 17. The specifications listed here are pre-modification, which included removal of the water nozzles and reducing the tank size to 200 gallons (760 l). In 2014 it was redesignated a Type 6 engine (from Type 4) in keeping with state definition changes, with no additional modifications being made.
