Associate Public Education Officer Gina Cali gives a Fire Safety presentation to a group of senior citizens at a retirement home. 
Demonstrating home safety: how household items can be unsafe, and how to either make them safer or purchase inherently safer items to prevent accidents. Some of the examples talked about are extension cords, throw rugs, and electric blankets. 
Demonstrating the best way to put out a stove-top fire: cover it, and not trying to putting water on it. 
As Cali and the crew of engine 11 look on, captain Steve Werner shows a Patient Contact Record (PCR), and talks about the Vial of Life, a program in which vital data is stored in the refrigerator where firefighters will know to look for it during a medical emergency. The crew responding can then quickly obtain important medical history information, which goes onto the PCR to assist the hospital. With captain Werner are FF/E Brent Rapport and FF/E/P Luis Fedalizo, Jr.
