First three photos: Supervisor Trish Rhodes, AMR, moulages the 'victims' before the event starts.
She specializes in injury makeup, and does this for numerous training drills and exhibition events.
Lower right: The Grim Reaper watches as the first responding rescuers make their initial sizeup
assessments.
Left: Engine 9's paramedic approaches the scene, loaded with equipment. Right: Truck 1 arrives
on scene.

Extrication and medical attention. Based on the presence of the Grim Reaper, it looks like
this victim isn't going to make it, despite the efforts of the rescuers.

The 'drunk driver' is administered a field sobriety test, before being arrested, transported
to jail, and booked.
Not part of the script: medical treatment is administered to several students feeling lightheaded,
and a third ambulance, not participating in the demonstration, is called. If you're going to sit in
grandstands in the sun for several hours, it's a good idea to drink some water first.
