Left: As the Grim Reaper and the audience look on, the DOA victim is covered. Right: Truck 5 arrives and prepares to assist Engine 3 in the extrication. The Grim Reaper can be seen standing near the dead and dying victims, 'invisible' to the rescuers and other participants.

Extrication, backboarding, and packaging for transport to the trauma center. In the background can be seen the "walking dead", those students pulled out of classes earlier that day, every fifteen minutes, to represent those killed by drunk drivers nationwide. They stand in silent witness to the events, made up as corpses.
