West Valley Fire Station

West Valley Station is an older station that was built to blend in with the surrounding community. This was a novel approach in 1965.  West Valley is unique in that the property has a front and back lawn.  West Valley Station is responsible for testing the Department’s ladders.

Engine 79
Engine 79 was built in 2001 and is due to be replaced in the near future. Engine 79 was 1 of the first 4 Engines in the Department to deliver paramedic services in 1994.

B179
B179 is a well-used reserve vehicle in the Department's fleet of vehicles.

Station History

Originally, West Valley housed a Battalion Chief in addition to the station’s crew.  When Seven Springs fire station was built, the Battalion Chief was moved to the new bigger station.
